Is there a way to connect an antenna to the HTC Advantage to increase wifi range?

Probably only way you could add antenna, but you would have to burn it to your motherboard. If you are finding the wifi weak, it's probably, because of type of modem box. the wifi supports 802.1 b/g version and will not work under 802.1 n version. If you keep it to the 802.1 b/g then you should not find any issues.
