Thread: When will the second core come online?

One of the main reasons I chose the Amaze is because of its 1.5 Ghz dual core processor (I love power). However, I was disappointed when I all the apps I've tried out for seeing core activity say the same thing; The second core isn't working. I've done a good deal of reading on the matter, and I've come to believe that HTC hasn't activated the second core in their Gingerbread release.

So my question is: Is there a way to activate the second core? It seems like at this point we have to wait for ICS to come out, as it supports multiple cores natively.
