Also having problems, both with my HTC Sensation and on my brothers HTC Flyer.
It's the same with both Facebook for HTC Sense & the plain HTC Sense.
Started about 24 hours ago out of the blue. >_<

Both tried removing and subsequently adding the accounts again, without luck. Also tried changing passwords from the PC, and Sense is still not working.

I have nearly the same problem. Today morning I switched the SIM card to another mobile provider (From German one to an Austrian one) and I forced to register HTC Sense account. I forgot the previous password of my Sense Acc. so I clicked "Retrieve" and I created a new one. I was successfully able to register, but since morning it keeps asking me to provide a new pass.

    I checked something different:

    1. I changed my pass of my Google Account what assigned/registered to the phone.
    2. I used the phone like nothing happened.
    3. Suddenly quite the same notification has appeared, but right now for the Google Account.
    4. I retyped the newly created password of my Google Acc. and now it has been gone.

My opinion is: Not the phone is wrong, but something happens with HTC Sense Service...

I'm still waiting for a solution!

    1. Update: I tried to login again from a browser and this was returned: https://www.htcsense.com/en_US/maintenance.html

Seems if you untick the HTC sense box under accounts and sync it goes away.. you can leave HTC hub and friends boxes checked no annoying message appears... Wtf does HTC sense sync do anyway?

I think lazabazsa is right... Sense is down for maintenance.. I suspect HTC are fixing issues now will try again when sense website is back up

I contacted HTC about this today, and received (very promptly I have to say) the following response:

Sorry to hear your having some difficulty with HTC Sense at this time.

We have had to take the difficult decision to shut-down the HTC Sense service, for the for-seeable future whilst some work is undertaken, sorry about this. I do not have any time-span of how long this work will take, so I can only offer an apology at this stage, for the inconveniece this may cause you.

HTC are comitted to providing you with the best user experience possible and our working hard to make the Sense service as good as it can possibly be.

    Thanks again for contacting HTC
I guess that answers the question for the moment. The next question is, when will it be back...?

Hi Guys, My biggest problem is this has stopped my notes with my HTC View from syncing with Evernote. The application that links this information is Evernote for HTC Sense. Since HTC Sense is down, there is no way to get any new notes to sync with Evernote. If this isn't resolved I'll have to go to a new device as the main reason I use the HTC View is for the notes feature and syncing with Evernote. I've also noticed that using HTC Sense on my Evo 4G LTE with photos on Facebook was much faster than simply going straight to Facebook. My last conversation with HTC technical assistance didn't even mention that Sense was down. This is a bummer.
