    Default Viber problem

Anyone here uses Viber?? I have encountered some major problem with it using HTC One.

When I am on a conversation with someone, the Viber screen will be no longer responsive, meaning i won't be able to end call or press any buttons.

    Anyone has the same issue?

I figured this problem may be the result of faulty "Proximity Sensor"... I guess I am one of those bad lucks who gets a faulty unit... When using 3rd party VOIP such Viber or Line, the screen wouldn't not light up, UNLESS I place the phone directly under strong lighting source. I went into "self testing mode" (aka *#*#3424#*#*), and confirmed the abnormal functionality of the P-sensor.

I sent my HTC One in for repair... still waiting.. I guess I will keep this forum updated...

**** Come on HTC!!! You guys should have done better.... Hopefully that "HTC" doesn't stand for Help This Company... -_-

Ok Guys.. The problem is resolved after sending my HTC One back for repair.

The problem I had with the VOIP app not lighting up during calls were indeed caused by FAULTY PROXIMITY SENSOR.

If you are experiencing the same problem, go into your phone app, and dial *#*#3424#*#*, test out the proximity sensor. If it is greyed out right at the beginning... then call HTC to schedule a repair.

    8/19: shipped to HTC
    8/22: Arrived in HTC
    8/24: Repair Status updated
    8/27: Repair done
8/28: HTC shipped out the phone vis FedEX 2nd day
    8/30: Received my phone

The problem was gone! Working well with Viber, Line, Skype, Talkaphone. I am now a happy camper!
