How do I download apps for my HTC?
I am new to the Androuid phone and I don't know how to download apps to my HTC. With my Blasckberry it was easy. All I had to do was click on the apt in the menu and it took me to a site where I can download apps. I don't see that on my HTC EVO 4G.
I would appreciate it if someone would explain how to do this. I saw a few apps on this site but there is no button to download them.
Thank you so much for your time.Melissa

Hey Melissa, I know my response isn't much of a help, but check the HTC website, I am sure you will get a respective answer or solution there.

There should be a Marketplace or Android market app on your phone. that program will take you to all the available apps {paid & free} that are available for 'Droids. You can also download & install them thru your PC, but most 'Droids must be rooted before you can do so. The 'Droid Marketplace' is the easiest way to donload & install programs to a 'Droid device.

I use AppBrain. You need to download the AppBrain app through the Market app on your phone, but once you have it, you can then browse apps via the AppBrain website and sync them using the AppBrain app on your phone.
