Thread: Android market apps different for every phone?

Hi,

Are apps in the Android Market specific for the type/model of phone?

The search results I'm getting using my wife's phone (HTC Desire) are not the same as what I'm getting on my Wildfire. And most of the time the apps I wanted won't be available on Wildfire but are on Desire.
