HTC has several devices that have country limitations on them. Here in the US; many HTC devices never arrive, or arrive much much later then the Euro/Asian versions. Personally I had to order my HTC Diamond from the UK because it was not released in the US till several months after the Euro release. As long as the device yopu want has the frequencies needed for your carrier, then you can use any device you want. The biggest issue is the 3G frequencies. even if a device will operate on your carriers network; this does not mean that it will receive a 3G network from your carrier. For example; T-Mo US uses 2 seperate frequencies for their 3G network {2100MHz Downlink + 1700 MHz Uplink} & Only T-Mo US branded devices will operate on T-Mo's US 3g network. A T-Mo UK phone won't even work on the T-MO US network. Check with your carrier to determine what type of Raio is need to operate on their network. The Aria uses GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS850, UMTS1900: According to PDADB http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&i...w=1&c=htc_aria
