Need Help With 3G Connection
Hey guys, got a bit of a problem, would be happy if u guys could give me a hand.
basically i bought a HTC Aria from a website on the internet. I live in the U.K. so aria is not available here, the website sent me the phone and it is in eastern asia ROM, like at setup it has thailand, signapore etc... Basically everything seems to work including wifi. However my 3G internet connection doesnt work. I emailed HTC and they said its probably not working because of the ROM. I am in the U.K. and using T mobile.
Basically is there anyway to solve this problem?
Thanks Alot...

The problem is that your device is using frequencies designated to the area it was originally sold in. You will need to reflash the device with a ROM that incorporates your carrier's frequencies. You may have to use a custom ROM to get the needed frequencies. Please read more in the Aria section @ XDA-Developers (you can also find many custom ROMs there).
I am unsure what TMOUK uses for their 3G networks, but hopefully it's not anything like TMOUS. In the US, TMO uses 2 different frequencies for 3G network activity (1700Mhz for upload & 2100Mhz for Download}.I'm Lost; I've Gone To Find Myself. If I Return Before I Get Back; Please Ask Me To Wait.
