Default Think you have a warranty? Probably not. Check your warranty void sticker!

I sent my phone in to be fixed because the screen was unresponsive. It is now 9 days later with no response from HTC so I called them to track the repair. I was told that it will be $100 to fix the screen because my warranty sticker was broken. I asked how that could be and they said I must have opened the phone and broken it or I took it somewhere and they broke it. That is absolutely not the case. Why would I pay someone else to fix it or even fix it myself when I know I have a warranty and can have professionals do it for me? So I looked at my husband's phone (also an HTC Aria) to see where this sticker that I supposedly had broken may be. Imagine my shock when I find that his sticker is also damaged because it is placed right where the corner of the battery hits. If you take your battery out more than once (something HTC tells you to do while you're on the phone with them), you are going to damage your warranty sticker and they will not cover your repair. I will never buy an HTC product again and I will be advising every person I know to do the same.
