Thread: Upgrade HTC Sense

Hi everyone,

I have a HTC Desire HD. I want to know if it's possible to upgrage HTC Sense 2 to 3.
I've seen some videos about Sense 3 and it's amazing.

Other question,

Is it possible upgrade android version too? Upgrade android version 2.2 to 2.3?

You will be able to update from 2.2 to 2.3,have you tried going into settings about phone and tap software updates then check now?. As for Sense that is a different kettle of fish unless you go via the xda developers route and follow their info, I cant see htc releasing it for the Desire HD as of yet.

i have just had a new update for android 2.3.3 now not much difference

will htc let you download htc sense 3 because mine is 2.1

Sense 3 has now two versions on xda developers site and I believe there's hardware limitations for sense 3 on the desire hd. If you want it on your phone now you will have to go and get the rom from that site and flash your existing rom on your phone. It seems that at the moment the first version of sense 3 everything works and on the latest version theres no blutooth. I personally am sticking with my vanilla phone and will let htc provide me with any updates. You could contact htc support on their website and ask them any questions you like and they usually reply with 48hrs.

I have seen on another forum that the Desire HD will getting Sense 3.0 on the android 2.3.3 after all but I can't read the post as its doing some work to the forum

yeah i would like an update on HTC sense 3.0 too..

i hope they improved apps like plurk since it has lots of features now..
