Thread: Update broke phone..

hey, i got an update and now my phone does not stay on for more then 2 minutes before instant reset... i have tried a hard reset by holding down the volume button and power button and such, but no luck. tried taking out the SD card nothing as well, please help, i do not want to send it away for it to come back next year, i only got it at Christmas!

Turn the phone off, take the battery out and put it back in again, then hold the down volume down while you press the power button. You'll get a menu which will allow you to reset your phone to factory defaults. Note though that this will DELETE all your data (except SD card) and it will only take it back to whatever kernel you have upgraded to. It won't necessarily take it back to the original O/S your phone came with.

I am having the same problem - I have 2.3.5 updated with 3.0 Sense and crashes every few minutes even AFTER a factory reset with NO apps installed...

I will be researching the issue and if I get any results I will post.
