Huawei U8500 - how to set own mp3s as ringtone?
Hey there!
As there isn't any subcategory for Huawei, i'll put it here as it's almost identical to HTC Desire Z hardware-wise.
Does anyone know how to put own music track as a ringtone? I tried every way, but couldn't find a way. The manual is also useless.
Can someone give exact steps?
Thanks!

A free app called Ringdroid helps you do this. Follow the instructions that comes with the app and you should be okay. I've used this several times.

You can do it without downloading anything..... Open the music player on phone-select track you want to use-Menu-set as ringtone-trim the ringtone (using sliders you set just a portion of the track) or phone ringtone or contact ringtone (for whole track)
