Thread: desire z headset icon

hi, any ideas how to remove the headset icon from top of the screen. when calling you can't speak to anyone and can only hear the caller when in speaker mode. i've tried a soft and complete reset also

Maybe check the obvious, for any foreign matter in the jack. The phone is obviously recieving a false input from somewhere which makes it think the hands-free are hooked in. Otherwise i hear finding a female and yelling at them usually helps.
