G'Day M8.
If you are still having battery issues, use a HTC widget called Power Control. This widget lets you turn on/off the Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, Background App Sync and adjust the screen brightness. I was having similar problems to you, in terms of battery life, until I turned off the wi-fi, bluetooth, GPS and background sync. I only turn them on when I need them, thanks to the widget. Now, I can charge the phone 100% and still have juice left in the battery after 48 - 60hrs. Also, if you have downloaded/installed an App/Process manager, uninstall it. My battery life improved after i UNINSTALLED by app/process manager.
Hope this helps. It helped me so give it a go.

had a really bad battery draining issue; 10% - 15% per hour. At one point I was ready to throw my desire at the wall. I thought I'd wait to see if things improved with froyo. I gave up waiting for t-mobile so I unbranded and updated to froyo myself. I suspected that certain apps were killing my battery, possibly due to partial wake lock? so I chose not to update facebook, google maps and twitter. I also did the following, which I found on another forum:
1. Charge your Desire for 8 hrs or so (overnight is easy) when the Desire is ON. After this you'll notice that the green (fully charged) light is on.
2. Unplug your Desire and turn it OFF. Plug it back in and you should notice that instead of the green light you get the orange light which indicates that actually the battery isn't fully charged. Charge for an hour like this.
3. Unplug again and turn ON, turn OFF straight away and charge for another hour.
I now get 30 - 35 hours out of my desire with moderate use, I'm not sure which of these did the trick but I'm a lot happier now I get 5 times more life out of my battery.do you charge it like this every time, or just once ?

Hey,
Just wondering if you sent your phone back to be repaired? Mine went back in January because of bluetooth issues and they had it for three weeks! Also, everybody I have spoken to has had issues with the battery life so I'm wondering if any repairs were made and if it helped at all!
