Unhappy Problem of Advanced Task Killer with Froyo 2.2

    Hi all..
I just updated my desire to froyo 2.2..
But i found that after i KILL apps by Advanced Task Killer ( also ATK Froyo beta ),
the apps will restart again immediate or few mins after..
is it Normal? or any idea can cure it?
    Hopefully someone can help.

    Thanks and best regards.

Same thing here, apparently devs can't force close in froyo. I don't even miss having it.

The reason is that Android takes care of memory management on its own, it does it very well, and doesn't need any help. If you stop a task that some apps need even temporarily, it will restart when the app calls upon it again. The best thing to do is get rid of any task killer apps and just let Android take care of itself. If you want to learn more, try this link:

I've played with ATK and found it was an app that wastes my time as I'd rather be using my phone than constantly futzing with it trying to get it to run 1% better. If apps are running poorly, replace them with apps that run properly and start USING your phone.

    Just my 2 cents.
