I have uninstalled Adobe Air and reinstalled everything, but still nothing works. I am starting to regret buying a HTC.

I was having the same problems with HTC Sync. After searching about this problem I stumbled across this thread and ended up using MyPhoneExplorer: www.fjsoft.at after I installed the program I was able to sync my phone with my computer. was able to sync all my contacts and calendar entries with outlook. Thanks for the help.

HTC Sync have 2x major bugs (that cause me most grief) that stop it from working,
1. Adobe Air
2. Attempts to read itunes music library
Update adobe AIR (Recent HTC update fixes adobe AIR issue by installing later version) and rename "iTunes\iTunes Music Library.xml" to another name e.g. "iTunes\iTunes Music Library.bak". This file can be found under the following directories for the following OSs.
winxp = %HOMEPATH%\My Documents\My Music\iTunes
win7 = %HOMEPATH%\Music\iTunes

Hi guys, I had the same problem. I downloaded the latest adobe air and htc sync apps. after installations, when htc sync opened, i plugged in my phone and it worked without any problems. There was no restart after any of the installations.
