Cool FINALLY not able to login to HTC Sense SOLVED!!!

ok, i think this should do the trick to a year old problem.... go to main menu(all apps menu) tap the '3 horizontal lines' button (right beside the home button) and tap remove app. then go to 'All' tab above, scroll down and tap HTC Sense with the HTC logo as thumbnail(NOT the weather logo thumbnail) and then tap clear data. that should do the trick(logically). if not, then repeat the process for htc hub, htc checking service, htc likes!! that should definately solve all ur htc hub problems!!!
p.s. after browsing through the net for almost a 12-14 hours, i did this on a whim... and it worked marvelously... i alphabetically cleared data on all of the above mention apps. i wasn't sure which one so i did them all. share this if it works with others cause i found 10-15 forums topics with similar problems.... tc

Zunaid, ur a star.... I followed your recommendation, but did it for all suggested processes and it worked!!!! I created a new account on the web, then did the same on my phone and awesome, it works. Can access all tools on the web including a successful ringtone sent to the phone and location founds. However, when I go to the HTC Hub and tap on an item, it says unable to connect to server, BUT cancel that and it still works, Ive downloaded a number of items successfully. So everyone, go ahead and give it a go!!!!!

    Default Worked!

Thank you Zunaid! Clearing the data worked! I deleted the original account that wasnt working, cleared the data in the app, and reinstalled and it works perfect! Thanks.

    Default htc sense

Hey, I just got my HTC Wildfire S for christmas and now it won't connect to the HTC Sense. I have tried deletng the account, creating a new one with my gmail, and deleting the htc hub. nothing seems to be working. I am stuck on the Verify Device page on the HTC Sense website. Any ideas to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated!

Also when i try to connect through the phone, i get either the error message "wrong password/email" or "cannot connect to HTC Sense"

Ok, I managed to sign in through my phone now... This is what I did..
    1) delete existing HTC sense account (if any) on my phone: Settings --> Account & Sync --> select "HTC Sense" and "Remove Account"
    2) create new HTC sense account via website with a different email address
    3) open the "Verify my Account" email by clicking the link or cut and paste the given link
    4) sign in via the given link
    5) then go to my phone: Settings --> "Account & Sync" again --> select "Add Account" and select "HTC Sense"
    6) now I've login via my Device..

However, still no "device location" shown on the HTC Dashboard~
it says "Your device is performing its initial sync with the service. This can sometimes take several hours, depending on how many contacts you have." but I don't see anything running?!
and except the "Make device play a sound at full volume", nothing else is click-able..
Anyone of you got this working???

I have the same problem, my first ChaCha was signed in no problem, I've now had to replace it because it was stolen (and annoyingly didn't have enough battery to trace via Sense). When I got the new handset I deleted my old sense account and have tried to set it up anew with the new phone but I can't log in from my handset, it says 'Your phone was unable to connect to HTC Sense'.

I've tried clearing the data from HTC apps as suggested and I still can't sign in. In fact I don't actually seem to have HTC Sense running as an App, only the HUB (which I can't sign in to). If I search 'Sense' it returns no result, yet if I go in to Remove Apps, there it is.

    Am I doing something wrong?
