Thread: HTC Desire no longer pairing with Pioneer DEH-P710BT radio

Hey there, in June last year I got my desire and from day one the phone paired and worked perfectly with my radio via bt...

And then around october last year, it started giving issues...

It pairs fine with the radio initially, it connects and enable bt telephone and bt audio, and then a few seconds later the phone says, bt headset (telephone) disconnected.

And then phone's cpu usage goes through the roof, the phone becomes unresponsive until you either turn off bt or reboot the phone...

If you do turn off the bt, the phone comes right again until you turn it back on which, after a few seconds the phone reboots...

I have tried different phones and everything pairs fine with the radio, I have tried different headsets and they pair and work perfectly with the phone.

I tried rooting the phone and an open source rom, and it works again flawlessly, but when you put the original rom back on, the bt problem comes back...

Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Ok, I seem to have fixed it all by myself... :-D

I had a contact created to keep all the fb mobile messages together... and as such the contact has 50 phone numbers... and the radio only accepts 5 numbers per contact max...\

Removed the contact and my phone is once again pairing and working perfectly with the radio...

Now, just to find a way to group the fb messages together...
