Thread: **Desire not charging correctly**

Hi there,

Iv had my Desire now for around 1 year and recently iv encountered a problem while charging.

When i connect the charging cable and try to charge either by the PC or the power mains the battery icon doesnt start moving yet it has the lightning symbol and yet my phone doesnt charge. Its like theres only enough power coming through to actually run the phone.

Sometimes when i charge the phone when its off it charges perfectly but other times it doesnt, sometimes when i charge the phone when its on it charges perfectly and other times it doesnt.

I did have 300+ photos and videos on my phone/sd card but i thought it might of been a memory problem so i deleted half of my photo's/videos and then it charged perfectly....for a while but it has now gone back to just showing the lightning icon but the baterry icon not moving or charging.
