Calendar alarm
I was very surprised when I first got my Desire that entering an event in the calendar did not allow me to also add an alarm to that event; the most common thing I do in the calendar is to add various events at all different dates/times, say enter an appointment in three weeks time at 15:00 and set an alarm for 13:00 on that day.
The stock calendar does not allow the alarm. I have work arounds for this problem but what is the likelyhood that HTC will build that in?
Surely any electronic calendar worth its name should have that facility as standard?

Err .. it does have reminders built in as standard ..
At least, it normally does. Certainly, it does when you create the event on the phone.
I have noticed occassions when the reminder option ain't there. I'm not 100% sure when this happens, but I suspect it's when the event is created without a reminder (either on the phone or elsewhere - e.g. Outlook - and sync'd to the phone).
Anyway, the way around this is to go to the Calendar, tap the event, then on the 'view' screen, press menu. One of the options should be 'add a reminder'.
Having said that, I only have a single, PC Sync calendar. I guess it's possible that, if you try to create or update an event from another calendar, you could have this problem.
To check this, open one of the events that's giving you problems and look at the first drop down to see which calendar owns it.
I think by default there are 2 or 3 different calendars. I removed all but PC Sync as I just need the one and I never remembered to check which calendar I was creating events on.
