    Default Updating Apps

    Hi,

    Market App ver. 3.1.5

Since the Market App was updated to ver. 3.1.5 on my htc Desire, that when I get a new message in the notification area that there are updates for any of my20 Apps and clicking on updates it goes straight into My apps but no updates are showing only installed apps so don't know what apps need to be updated, or if already updated it does not say what app was updated.

On clicking on all my apps there is no ticks in any of the Automatic Update boxes!

Before the update to ver. 3.1.5 you could see what apps needed to be updated and why and had a choice if you wanted it updated or not!

    Is there a problem?

    Thanks

    Steve

You actually got the latest version of Market to work?!!

    It's a miracle!

Is this the new updated update? Apparently a lot of people - including me - were having issues (mine was time outs) with the original now-with-books update and Google released an update to that update.

I don't know if this has helped: I wound up uninstalling the Market update I had and reverting to the previous version which is (touchwood) still working fine.

Dunno, just turned on the phone one day and there it was... yes I also find it very slow even in the house using my wifi and forget about using it outside! As talking about updating my apps, I get a message saying updates are available but when I go to look and download any updates none are showing! I found the earlier version much better.

Haven't had that problem. I kept getting notifications that I had outstanding updates, however whenever I went to the market (using WiFi), there were genuine updates there waiting.

I wonder if the issue could be automatic updates? I have nothing set to update automatically .. apart from some network installed apps that I never use and have no control over.

You could try switching your apps to manual update, see if that helps.
