Thread: Is there anyway i can update my 2.2 Froyo To 2.3 Gingerbread?

Im tired of my 2.2 and I want to try something new. I'm a newbie so is there anyway I can get a new ROM or something? Also I live in the US and I've tried to update to 2.3 but it gives me a model

There is an 'approved' ROM from HTC for 2.3 on the original Desire. One slight drawback with it is that, because of internal storage constraints, you get a cut down version of HTC Sense. Not quite sure which features are lost or exactly where you can find the ROM, but I'm sure a quick google will get you what you need.
