Well sweetheart, this does not sound too good...
Electronic and electrical devices don't like water only because it can create short circuits between components as water is slightly conductive. This means that if the phone gets water inside and there is no power, then you dry it, it may restart without any problem. Meanwhile, if the phone is powered and water gets in, then there are great chances that some components will fry.
What you should have done when it happened:
1-Pick it up immediately
2-Turn it off and remove the battery
3-Dismantle and set it to dry in a warm dry and vented area
4-Let is sit there for at least 3 days
5-If you are certain the device is fully dry power it up and see what happens.
If you powered your unit and you were not even sure it was fully dry then it's a second mistake on top of the first, reducing your chances of success.
Double fault from your end, now get prepared to pay the full repair price as the warranty will not cover that, they can tell when a phone got wet with the chemical indicators.
Take your phone away from that bowl of rice, especially if its cooked... just follow the procedure from step 3.
If still no good take it to a repair shop to see what they say. Be prepared to have your phone gone forever.
Good luck
