Thread: Managing gmail on the Desire

The gmail app and data takes up over 30 mb of internal memory on my Desire, and I need to clear space to install the latest software update, which for some reason requires 25 mb of free memory to install.
* I cannot find a way to clear any of the mail except one by one selection. Is there a way to select all or even delete all spam and trash? It would be too much to hope that all this mail could be transferred to SD card I suppose.
