    Default htc weather issues

    Hi,

    Recently since my Desire indicated there was an update to version 2.2.2, which was downloaded, I have now noticed that the htc weather app that came with the phone does not update your current location, just says United Kingdom and not to where you are, Eastbourne, Brighton, Wandsworth etc, just United Kingdom, not useful when it is saying 'snow' when it is sunny where you are!

    But, I have noticed if I disable Wi-Fi, it starts to work again!

    Is there a fault or bug with the latest update?

    Software details;

    Android Ver. 2.2.2

    Software No. 2.33.161.6

    Thanks

    Steve

    If you put your finger and hold it on the home screen and then drag it downwards to the left it will alow you to edit the weather, select you chosen town etc from the list it will then show on your homescreen instead of united kingdom etc,hope that helps

    It appears that this problem has now been going on for quite sometime. It has now happened to my phone and I find that it no longer shows the city but reads "United Kingdom (current)". This is very annoying. I have looked at another HTC forum today and appears that this problem is quite wide spread and is not only in the UK. What is HTC doing about it? As the problem must lie in their ball park.
