Thread: HTC unlock bootloader on Desire in error state

Hi to all!
Few days ago, HTC released the unlock bootloader tool for HTC Desire also (and for other smartphone) HTCdev - Unlock Bootloader. So I tryed to follow the guide. The first step is intended to upgrade the HBOOT, so I have to connect the device to the computer, to download a RUU from a list on my computer and to execute it. But when my device automatically reboot (this is the procedure) I get and error that says "model id error"!
I write from Italy so I downloaded HTC Europe RUU (my device is not branded). Which one I have to try?
Is there anyone that tryed this procedure? Anyone can help me?
