Thread: HELP WITH G1 !! INSTALLATION ABORT !!!!! HELP HELP PLEASE !1

Hi i am trying to install the htc hero rom onto my g1. and i would save the file and rename it to update.zip i turn off the phone hold down the power key and the home key. ALT+s it doesnt update from my sd card it shows me an errorm essage like this

E:Can't open /cache/revovery/command

-- Install from Sd card...
Finding update package...
opening update package...
verifying update package...
E:No signature (5 files )
E:verification failed
installation abort


please help me if you can email me or reply back to this forum i reeally want the htc hero rom !!
