Thread: Adobie Flash Player??????

Has anyone got an idea as to when the Adobie Flash Player will be pushed out OTA to the G1'sssss???????? I'm dying to see this application loaded and workin on the my G1!!

sites that crashed a particular flash 9 / mozilla combination said 'wrong flash version' in firefox portable with flash 9 plugin in wine or simply did not show anything.go figure...
Some flash video players are now using sources other than flv...eg mp4..... perhaps related. Also flash 9 has much more system intertwining than 7 or previous...and what happend to 8 eh. Could also be javascript calls or other adware / phone home events going on....not all flash content is friendly it seems.
someone suggested flashblock ...only enable the flash you want. Since for example imdb.com has 3 to 4 flash adverts on one page not a bad idea.

Best stability so far is seamonkey in puppy 4.12 or firefox 2 and flash 9.0.124 from adobe archive.
Personally is still use flash 7 on firefox 1.5 as I need to be productive and crashes seriously get in the way (and don't impress potential linux converts either).

Also note that recent instabilities came with the adobe takeover of macromedia ...not being paranoid or anything could simply be bad programming and rushing out new features like microsoft do.
