Thread: G1 digitizer

my son cracked the digitizer screen Prices on e-bay are all over the place My son says the digitizer on the G1 is the same as the htc touch????? anyone know???? Or know the screen #

I'd play it safe and get one for the G1 specifically, there are a few different Touch models, and I think the screen on the G1 is bigger than them

As for specific parts #'s I'll let someone who knows chime in

hi ; we are also from the toronto area moved to texas in 1993.

The Digitizer on G1 is different from the one on HTC Touch and the difficulty level on this model to do a self repair is very high and if you ask me i wouldn't recommend anyone to do the repair on G1 by themselves as i did the same mistake and then finally had the screen replaced at the repair center near my place and they did a good job on the phone and that too i just had to wait 30mins....if u want u can also try them out...HTC Repair Dallas

For all my HTC repairs i usually look towards HTC G1 Repair and i would recommend you the same.
