Default Shoulda got the screen protection plan

I know, I know...but hindsight is 20-20 I suppose. While getting out of my car a few weeks ago I cracked the screen. Has anyone on the boards replaced their own screen? If so, I'd love to pick your brain--primarily, what parts did you need (ldc? digitizer? just the screen?) and where did you find instructions on how to repair it? I'd like to be sure I have all the necessary parts before I start the job as I can't be without my phone for 4 or 5 days. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I've watched a few DNA screen replacements on youtube. they're not too hard to find. looked kind of tedious, but didn't look too bad.

If you are going to replace the screen yourself (which I am assuming you already did since you posted this last March), be sure to purchase a pre-assembled screen + digitizer. Both are needed for the repair, and they have to be specially 'sealed' before you install it, which is a process that end-users can not do.

I'm just putting this out there for other people as my brother went through this with his DNA, and had to learn the hard way. I currently have a boken screen on my own DNA although I haven't decided which route to go personally.
