Thread: Multiple Problems with Eris

Hi all,

I just recently got the Eris a few months ago and I have been having some problems.

The phone will go to a random book marked web page without me clicking on it.
The phone sometimes becomes unresponsive and wont turn on or it will act very slow and jumpy.
The battery wont last 8 hours without any use.
It will scroll itself to the stock widget from the main screen.
The phone does not update weather very often, maybe once a day.


Ive already tried deleting the apps I downloaded to no avail. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong, or even how to fix it, or did I get a dud.

You are not alone. This is happening to a LOT of people. Just go browse the Verizon forums and see for yourself. Neither Verizon or HTC is doing anything about it.

Sad really...

I'll be switching over to the iPhone 4 with Verizon as soon as I am eligible. Considering even going to AT&T after the customer service I received at the Verizon store.
