hi, i am getting no where near the battery life that it says, 340hours on stand by, i am getting about 36 hours, is anyone else having this trouble?

Well, 340 hours is probably with the phone switched off You have to check your battery usage and see what's eating the battery. From my experience so far the biggest (ab)user is wi-fi - even in standby. ALWAYS turn it off when not in use. Otherwise - the more often you sync, e.g. via 3G, the less battery. I also switch off manually GPS and BT when not in use but I don't think at least GPS is eating up battery when you don't have an app using it running.
