Thread: HTC evo design 4g locks up during calls!!!

Help my htc evo design 4g locks up completely during calls. Only calls, text msg, internet etc all work. Only during calls, phone completely locks up. Power button wont wake phone up from sleep state. Can still hear and talk to person on other line. Just cant hang up or operate phone at all. HTC already repaired my phone and it didn't do the trick. Im going to send the phone off AGAIN tomorrow. Anyone else have any issues? Not an app interference problem, had the exact same problem happen to the first htc evo design i got. This is the second evo design ive got, and i still have the same problem......

Purchased first htc evo 4g Jan 1 from Best Buy. Three days later took it back for the same issue as you have above. I was given another new phone. Last week I took it back again, this time it was replaced with a refurbished phone, which I picked up today. Fingers crossed the issue won't happen again, it is such an inconvenience taking the phone back, paperwork involved and being given whatever is on the shelf to use while you wait for the phone to be repaired/replaced. So far, I've spent almost as much time without the phone as I have with it.
