Thread: Sync errors

Ok before anyone says it I am new to the smart phone world. I got the htc shift and upon trying to sync it on a friends computer there were no issues. I got it home and mounted the phone to install sync, it started to work after a few minutes. Here is where the issue starts. Once I do the sync and unplug the phone, and remembering i want another song on it, i try to hook it back up and sync tells me no device connected. I've tried everything including uninstalling sync and then reinstalling it again. It works great the first go at it and then i have to uninstall and reinstall it again to get it to work i would apprecate any help one can offer!!!!

When you connect the usb cable, are you choosing sync on the menu that pops up the phone?
