Thread: Screen..

So I have an Evo shift. Does the screen only turn from vertical to horizontal if the qwerty keyboard is open? I've noticed that if I turn the phone horizontal the screen doesn't adjust to how I'm holding it unless the qwerty keyboard is open. Should the screen turn horizontal if the qwerty keyboard is closed? Help....

Don't know about that particular phone but I don't think that's normal.

Try checking that:

Settings .. Display .. Auto-rotate screen

is turned on (ie: ticked)

For me, it auto adjusts. Might be a phone setting and hopefully theres nothing wrong with your phone.
