Default HTC Flyer 16GB Internal Storage

Why does the Flyer only show 8.69GB of Total space 8.57GB Available?

About 4GB internal application memory and 9GB usable internal tablet storage memory. Total is 16GB internal. So about 3GB used for the OS

    Default 32gb?

    This stuff is very confusing.
I have a 32GB (according to the box) Flyer.
The Application Manager shows 327MB Internal Storage used, 7.6GB free.
    The Storage shows:
    - Tablet storage Total space 19.61GB, Available space 18.97GB
    - Internal storage Available space 7.54GB
    There's no SD card fitted.

What are all these bits, how do I use them, and where's the 32GB?

The 32GB of internal memory is designed to take 8GB as internal memory for system files and "Local file" where the rest of the 16GB is treated as an SD Card, so that it will enable you to mount it as a flash drive when you connect it to a computer.

If your further utilize the Micro SD card slot on your flyer, the system will put it under ext_sd within the sdcard folder, when you connect it to PC under the Flash drive mode, it will create two flash drives.

    Hope this help....cheers
