Watch movies on my HTC Flyer-- which format best ?
Ok I am trying to add movies to my HTC Flyer so as to watch them on board. I mean DVD and Blu-ray movies. I know it’s copy-protected but I use these movies strictly for personal use. I own Pavtube Blu-ray ripper, which handles Blu-rays and DVDs. Just not sure which format to use. Any suggestions? What format does HTC Flyer play?

I tried the settings you suggest with pavtube, and it works! I’m now ripping DVDs to MP4 for HTC Flyer.

I have tried .avi, .mpeg and .mp4 and the Flyer plays them all perfectly.
FYI, I'm using MX Video Player.

I prefer MP4 most of the time.As it is supported by not only HTC Flyer but also other portable devices.By the way,I used Any DVD Cloner Platinum to rip my DVD movies to MP4,the quality is not as good as the original one but I understand that as DVD movies is compressed to a smaller file.
