    Default Medscape Installation problems

    I just purchased an HTC Flyer via BestBuy. I'm a doctor and use Medscape extensively. After downloading the Medscape app from the Market , I proceeded to sign into my account but it kept saying "Internet connectivity interrupted". I searched for a solution online but the only one available requires using the Ad Free app from the Market. This particular app does not work on the Flyer and keeps displaying a "fatal error " on starting. That's possibly because It's meant for Rooted devices only. I seriously need Medscape on my flyer and this was the main reason for getting it. I'd be very grateful if someone would come up with a solution.

    hi...have u been able to solve the medscape interrupted internet connectivity problem please?please help me....i cant find the solution to it....thanks..

    SOLVED!
    Just got an OTA update for my flyer and software got updated to version 2.27.1540.32
    The android version is 2.2.4 while sense is 1.0

    Just for the record, AdFree only works on ROOTED devices. i mentioned in another thread on xda that adfree does not work for me. with this OTA update, my Medscape is finally installing as i type this - - -
