Thread: Help!!!!! Serious in-call problem with HTC Desire

Hey guys,

I've had my HTC Desire for just over a year and up until last month I was really happy with it.
Recently however a major problem has been occuring...
When I make a phone call or receive a phone call, the other person will randomly become muted.
This will happen anywhere from 1 to 20 minutes into the phone call.
When the sound from the other person stops, my phone will begin to regurgitate the sound that the microphone picks up, i.e. I hear my own voice coming out of the speaker.
The delay on me talking into the phone to the speaker playing my voice back to me is roughly half a second.
The phone call does not get cut off, the timer still ticks away and I have had it before where after about 30 seconds of the call not working, the speaker will start allowing the other persons voice to come through.
Most of the time however I need to hang up and ring the person back.
Does anybody have an idea on how to fix this??
