    Default Touch Screen Fail.

Hey , only had my phone a few days, and woke up this morning and the touch screen wouldn't work. So now it's in contant lock. I've turned it off and on , still wouldn't work and i've pressed the reset button still no luck. I'm going on holiday on wednesday so i'm not sending it off, how do i fix this?

Thanks guys for mending my HD2 running Android.
My touch screen was intermittently unresponsive after I had dropped the phone. Standard reboot made no difference. Did the Hard Reset as advised (turn the device off completely then press and hold volume up/down key and at same time press the power key once. when you see a three colour banded screen then you can let go with your finger). The HD2 locked in the 3 colour banded screen (I waited but it did nothing) so I pressed the little red reset button and it seems to have worked.
    Jules
