Thread: HD2 - landscape problems, home button, and WMP wrongness...

Hey..

I thought I'd get all my issues with my HD2 into one neat thread.


First -

Recently the Phone, Calculator, Messages (and who knows what more apps) are switching to landscape view automatically - which is annoying the hell out of me! Especially in the Phone function as it also activates loudspeaker all on its own...

Anyone came across this issue and can advise how to fix it????


Second -

The Home button on the device has stopped working, most probably a defect and needs repairing but wondered if it might be a system thing?


Lastly -

Windows Media Player seems to stop playing when the phone is locked. After a bit of "unlocking - locking - taking out and re-inserting headphones" it seems to work.. But very annoying.


Thanks for any help. I'm off to the phone shop to ask about IPhones....

Oh and one more -

When I lock the phone using the main button on the device, it can sometimes be unlocked simply by tapping the screen. Which im sure isn't supposed to happen?

I have heard of these problems before. How long have you had your phone?
If you bought it new less than 12 months ago, go take it back, let them fix it.
It sounds like a hardware fault.
If you can get it replaced/fixed, then back your phone up to your computer using something like Sprite Backup, it will save you lots of time to restore your phone to how you want it.
