My HTC HD2 is getting hanged (freezes) quite frequently after a few moments of use. It hangsup faster when in camera/music playing / photo viewing mode. There are a couple of things worth a try, 1/ remove the memory card from the phone and see if the problems stop. If so, you may have a tired card in need of replacement.
2/ Backup your programs/contacts/files etc, and try a factory hard reset. 3/ If you can find a replacement battery, the phones are known to have problems with old batteries.

If none of these work, it could be a hardware problem.
