Thread: Problem getting past the lock screen

I've had my HD2 for a year or so now and it has developed two problems.

When I press the power button and get to the lock screen, I can't always unlock it by swiping the padlock. I tried power it off and removing the battery, but that didn't help. It works once in a while, but not very often.

Second problem is that when I'm done using the phone and press the end call/power off button; it will take me to the tools menu before it powers down the screen.

Any help is greatly appreciated!
