Thread: Unable to get settings...?

hiya i'm with O2 on an unlimited internet tariff. whenever i "ask" my HTC Hero phone to give me settings (for MMS/GPRS) the phone kept saying that it is unable to get settings for me. am i doing something wrong? do i need to change any settings? (usually the phone gets the settings automatically and i would not need to call O2 regarding this). i'm able to send text messages and surf the net. but not MMS/picture message. please help.

Settings are provider-dependent, and only a few (t-mobile for example) support automatic sending of the settings on android phones.

• Go to Settings > Wireless Controls
  Tap on Mobile Network Settings
  Tap on Access Point Names
  Press menu button.
