Thread: HTC supposedly tampering policy

Actually i had an HTC Hero and lately it encountered some problems I don't know how, but it did no longer power ON.
I had it dropped at the local representative for a quick diagnosis and troubleshooting, but they informed me that the mainboard was out of order due to the spilling of the damaged battery content on the latter.
Well, the phone was under a warranty cover of 2years and i had it for only 14months, and they tend to say that i had overcharged the battery and they won't recover my guarantee coz it has been breached.
Nevertheless I think that someone may give me a solution to this problem as I think that the battery was faulty and how could I have known if the defect product would have been the source of all my troubles with this Hero. It could have been that the battery was faulty since beginning.
