Thread: unable to copy contacts from PIM (1003)

Dear Colleagues

After a couple of years of satisfactory synchronisation - I have suddenly received the message - "unable to copy contacts from PIM (1003)". The HTC synchronised satisfactorily with my outlook files, yesterday.


One thing to add - a week ago I replaced the 4 GB SD card with a 32GB card. I copied all the files to the PC and then copied them back after I had replaced the card. Everything seemed to function properly and, as already mentioned, it synchronised yesterday including the pictures which are on the SD card.

None of the various suggestions on the web seem to cover this case: has anyone any suggestions please?

Problem solved itself - the possible cause was that the PC was in the middle of a Windows update and I had not permitted it to re-start.

Whatever the reason, I'm back in business again.

HiI having an issue. That I installed HTC sync in my pc. I'm using HTC Explorer. While I tried to sync it I got an error (unable to copy contacts from PIM (1003)). Please any one let me know how to proceed further with this.Thank you.
