Thread: GPS use by Live Search not working?

I have installed Live Search on my Imagio and so far when choosing location based upon Current GPS Postition, I keep getting the following message:

"Sorry, we still could not get your GPS position. Please see your phone's documentation for help on configuring GPS."

If I go to Settings, Location, HTC Location Service is checked and on and "Automaticly declude location service in all HTC software that attemps to use location" is unchecked. Also, "Improve location service by collecting location data at any time when device is in use" is ON.

Any help is appreciated.

The GPS for Live Search began working the next day. GPS began working for Google Maps as soon as I installed it.

I had the same problem, but I downloaded the Google maps mobile app (just search for it with your browser) and the GPS worked just like the iphone. Although Bing(live search) still doesn't work but I don't care. Thanks
