Thread: menu backlight - how to keep on

New user to HTC Inspire 4G. Know about the light sensor and that in bright-ish light, the menu bar turns off. I am looking to keep this on when the screen is on...I can't believe it uses THAT much power, and it's nearly impossible to see the menu bars otherwise. Any help on this? Settings? Market Aps, etc? (I don't have any issues with the auto brightness control for the screen, just the turning off of the 4 menu positions).

Same thing here. Sometimes it seems to go off when it should really be on. There must be an app for that!
