Inspire is repeatedly turning off when battery level is good
The other day I went to look at my phone and it was off. I never turn off my phone, and the battery was around 80% when I had left it only an hour before. Since that day, the phone seems to shut off at random times when the battery shows okay. I can be texting someone or just looking through contacts and it just shuts off. when I try to restart it sometimes it stays on for a bit, but sometimes I have to plug it in just long enough for it to boot and then unplug it and it can be good for hours. I don't know if this is a common issue? I drained the battery down to nothing and then fully recharged it in hopes that it would work, but it keeps doing the same thing...Any suggestions?

No, none at all. It is in perfect condition and in an otterbox. Doesn't get hot or anything. I think its just a bad battery. It has to be plugged in 100% of the time now or it shuts off. Guess I'll have to go in for a new battery.

That's what I would do. But it might be a defective phone.

My advice is to go through a charge cycle. Start at 100 percent battery and unplug the phone and let it discharge until it shuts off from lack of battery. Then charge again to 80% then discharge to 0 and finally up to 30% percent and back down to 0. If this process doesnt work then that means the phone is overclocking its CPU the solution to that would be to use a app killer and when ever the battery temp goes up kill some apps and save ur phone.
