Thread: First question from a noob

Hello all I just acquired an Inspire from my wife. This my first droid phone and I am now learning the ropes and setting it up. I just got the wifi set up to work with my 2 wire modem.
So my first question is, how do I know when it is accessing wifi as opposed to the ATT phone service? When I am out and about and looking to use wifi will the phone find it automatically?

The phone, to a fault, will default to wifi if it is on... even when there is barely a signal. Once you have established a connection it will be remembered.
